Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup grits
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup fresh mushroom pieces
- 2 teaspoons fresh garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- freshly ground sea salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Bring water to a boil.
- Add fresh mushrooms to boiling water for about 30 seconds, then
- Add grits and stir well.
- As the grits thicken, add in the fresh spinach, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and ground sea salt and pepper to taste.
